hardcorepunk became an important part of my life

we all do have stories to share! Take a
look at how kids get inspired to think
for themselves and question the very
bullying authority or society at large;
a realization that you don’t have to
join to a religion for us to create
relevant change in our lives and without
asking for anything in return.

(How many times you hear a kid talking
about losing money in organizing gig,
making zines, activist work, without
asking for anything?)

Interesting to take note, how
hardcore-punk became a driving force
towards pursuing and continuing the
struggle for human rights, environmental
movement, feminism, animal rights, and
other important issues. I hope you don’t
take my words as another marketing
gimmick of sort created by punk to sell
records, but rather, as always, have an
awareness if these shits make sense to
you before you make judgments, as I also wish
that you will be inspired to think for
your own, please don’t think at the end
that punk rock will save your life.
Well, that’s for you to realize eventually. hehe

Define hardcore punk. Just playing a devil's advocate here. No pun intended.

Hardcore punk is a sub-genre of punk rock that originated in the United States in the late 1970s.

straightedge-refers to a lifestyle, a personal commitment, a philosophy, and a subculture that is closely associated with hardcore punk music. Straight edgers abstain from tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs. Followers of the straight-edge world view may also abstain from caffeine or casual sex (note that this typically doesn't imply total celibacy prior to marriage, but rather only having sex in the context of a serious relationship), and practice vegetarianism or veganism,sXe believes that religion is a form of weakness and mind control.
