Monday, December 29, 2008Tuesday, February 5, 2008K.D. sistemaBetter known as K.D.Sistema(Kolapso Do Sistema) (Cavite/Manila) plays Raw Punk/Hardcore/Crust or whatever you wanna call it... just formed last December 2007 by people who had a passion for the underground scene specially with the D.I.Y. ethos. Ryan from a punk band T.R.A. was into stuffs like ComebackKid & FromAshesRise, Jhxn and Istvxn from the now defunct Hc/Crust band FallChildren are both into Dropdead, & Skitsystem, and Carl a newbie to the scene was into some old school metal stuff, filedl up the bass position. A sort of a demo is on it's way and ready to be recorded. and was due to release by mid february... hopefully with some handful of splits and stuff... for those who are interested to browse and see what we kinda look like heres a vid... just be patient with Bufering kind of thing...(http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAcDJZENmwg) K.D.Sistema (Kolapso Do Sistema) with members hailing from Cavite, Rizal and Q.C started functioning as a unit on early December last year and is a very young band. The band consists of Ryan (also of T.R.A) on drums, Carl on bass, Istvan on guitars and me, Jhon on vocals (from the now defunct HC/Crust Cavite based band Fall Children). Kolapso Do Sistema is the Portuguese translation of System Collapse, I guess the name is just the representation of what we're feeling right now other than that the name has no meaning behind it. As of now we are on the process of recording and hoping it will be up by mid February. we in it for trades by any means we're not really on the concern of selling it. Yes we find it very important not only to address the current/important issues but to react and do something about them as an individual. Our songs reflect our viewpoint not only on the present government but most importantly on our everyday struggle as an individual. We strongly believe that if we really want this country or your community to be a better place, we must deal with ourselves first and this involves our actions and choices. There's much more reliable source of information than the newspapers and the corporate media…look much deeper…and get involved. Ahm… work schedule can pretty much cripple us in a way, see 3 of us is working full time and in changing shifts while 1 is still studying, but we sure find ways to push things thru… and I can say that we're a very tight unit. So that won't kill us. 5. Are there any message to the readers? Where can we contact the band? Yeah, think and weigh things for yourselves, you must find your own convictions and strengthen them. Don't just settle for anything that you hear or see… question things, investigate. Our choices and actions matter.
